Building on the success of the feline family of WAN analysers, the parascope plus provides analysis for the installation and maintenance of RS-232 links.  The Parascope Plus can be deployed in conjunction with PC software to monitor, simulate and run BERT on RS-232 interfaces, providing statistics and analysis in an easy to use format.  Offering full 7-layer decode, as well as quick verification of major RS-232 signalling and data links via physical LEDs and test points.

Tests Performed

The Parascope Plus provides simulation of DTE and DCE devices, as well as monitoring for RS-232 links, Capable of providing a quick and simple view of the status of RS-232 links, using physical LEDs and test point access for major RS-232 signals, the Parascope Plus can also perform Bit Error Rate tests whilst injecting errors to check link integrity.  Additionally in conjunction with a PC, the ParaScope Plus is able to provide full 7-layer decode of signalling and important statistics including utilisation and errors.                                                                                                   

Summary
