Tests Performed

The Ameritec AM-4 Series of Transmission Test Sets is actually three instruments in one.  The Test Set provides the capability to provide a wide range of tests over the extended voice band, including measurements related to Noise, Level, Frequency and Jitter.  Additionally the Test Set can also contain both a fully functional signal generator, to support the above measurements, and a telephone set with all the functionality you would expect from an Ameritec unit.
