Geographical Cell QoE Analysis

A large proportion of customer complaints for Mobile Broadband Services are related to congested cells. Cell locations may become congested due to inadequate radio or network resources or to high traffic during peak hours. In order to improve subscriber QoE, the operator needs to identify congested cell locations and to proactively plan network resources to prevent such problems.

The Omni-Q Q-Cell from Radcom provides session quality statistics per the various Cells, LACs and RACs in order to find and pinpoint problematic locations within the network. The data comes from real users in real time allowing Network Operators to react as needed rather than rely on sampling data.

 

This data can then be overlaid onto Google Maps providing a red/amber/green scoring for all cells in a given area. Alternatively a rolling report on the 30 worst cell sites may be generated for continual network improvement.
